I like to think that I am friendly and outgoing. I definitely don’t like conflict and like to include people so that no one feels left out.
I was working in accounts receivable right out of high school with different companies. My husband and I went to the shopping mall near us when I was approached by a woman with a clipboard asking if I’d be interested in learning to book travel. The rest is history.
Growing professionally and having the trust of my co-workers to know that they can reach out to me when they need assistance. Same applies to my customers, it is a huge compliment that they feel comfortable with me and trust me.
On nice days I love to go to the beach. I also enjoy shopping at farmer’s markets and antique stores. Probably my most favorite thing to do is go to an afternoon matinee with my son and then to dinner for mommy/son time.
Like the above, my son. I’m proud of the young man he’s become. Intelligent and compassionate. I see him going far in life and making a difference in other’s lives.
Treat others how you’d like to be treated. I believe this applies in personal and business. Think how you’d like to be spoken to being on the customer’s end in a difficult situation.
Probably a chef. I love to cook and bake when I have free time, and love trying new recipes.
Anything to do with helping our veterans. I belong to our local American Legion, and volunteer in the Stand Down project to help homeless vets. There are 9000 in New Jersey alone. I’m the daughter of a decorated WWII vet, sister of Vietnam vets, and wife of a Navy vet. I feel the men and women deserve so much for risking their lives for our freedom, yet they get so little.
We have a local mexican restaurant named Maria’s. Very small and very authentic. Maria cooks everything, one dish at a time so it comes to your table fresh. She also comes out and checks on her guests to make sure they are happy and satisfied. The place is a little known secret that is starting to get more known by the locals in our area.
