Here is our annual list of the top Travel apps you need to use on your next trip:

App #1 – Open Table is one of my favorite travel apps – The OpenTable app allows you to make advance reservations at restaurants around the world. The first thing I do when I land in a city is do a quick search on OpenTable of restaurants near my hotel that offer the food that I like at a budget I can afford.  The app allows you to sort restaurants by location, cuisine, price, etc.  It even includes guest ratings as well as the menu with prices. As a bonus Open table also has a rewards program that gives you credit based on frequency. It’s a cool app. CLICK HERE for more.

App #2 – Google Maps – With the Google Maps app, you can search for directions to and from anywhere in the world, and you can even tailor them to different transportation methods. If you’re not sure about your internet connection while you’re abroad you can download maps ahead of time for the areas you are traveling to, so you will be able to  access online. CLICK HERE for more.
