United CEO Says Airline Will ‘Shake Up’ Travel With New Products in 2026

Big things are on the horizon for United Airlines in 2026. This year, the Chicago-based carrier plans to launch brand new business class seats, an array of notable new routes, and other exciting products that will “shake up the industry,” according to a new internal memo from the airline’s CEO Scott Kirby. The memo was sent to United employees on January 2, according to a report from The Points Guy. So far for 2026, the airline has revealed major plans to debut a new version of its popular Polaris business class cabins. TSA Expanding PreCheck Touchless ID to 50 New Airports

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced plans to expand its expedited Touchless ID program for PreCheck members to include as many as 65 U.S. airports by the end of spring 2026. Touchless ID allows TSA PreCheck members who opt into the program with eligible airlines to access a dedicated lane where their photo is taken and verified biometrically based on their passport or driver’s license picture. New Phase of LAX Construction Will Cause Traffic Delays—What Travelers Should Know

Travelers heading to one of the busiest airports in the United States could face delays and complications when trying to reach their terminal. New construction began Tuesday at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) that will see a pedestrian walkway torn down and several traffic lanes closed, according to airport officials. Air France, KLM Extend NDC Interline Bookings to Delta

Air France and KLM each have expanded their New Distribution Capability offers to include interline flights with Delta Air Lines, Air France-KLM announced. While Delta has not yet launched its own NDC offers, Delta-marketed flights now can be booked in combination with Air France and KLM transatlantic flights through the latter carriers’ NDC channels “to destinations across North America, South America, and the Caribbean served by Delta,” according to Air France-KLM. Read More…
