Jamaica Minister of Tourism: Visitors Are A ‘Priority’ During Hurricane
As Hurricane Melissa slammed the island of Jamaica, the Jamaica Tourist Board said that safety of visitors on the island remained “the top priority.” Edmund Bartlett, the minister of tourism, indicated there were about 25,000 visitors in Jamaica at the time Melissa hit as a Category 5 hurricane.Hotels and resorts were already taking precautions ahead of the storm, which struck Tuesday morning with wind gusts of up to 215 mph and the possibility of three feet of rainfall or more in parts of Jamaica, according to a bulletin from AccuWeather. Delta Opening Salt Lake City Sky Club
Delta Air Lines on Oct. 28 officially will open at Salt Lake City International Airport its newest Sky Club, the carrier announced Monday. The nearly 34,000-sq.-ft. club, located in the newly expanded Concourse B, can seat up to 600 guests and is the second-largest Sky Club in Delta’s network, according to the airline. Read More…
American to Resume Tel Aviv Flights
American Airlines in March 2026 will resume daily flights between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport and Tel Aviv, Israel, the carrier confirmed Monday. JFK to Tel Aviv flights will begin March 28, with return Tel Aviv to JFK flights set to resume March 31. Flights are on sale and will operate will Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. The carrier has not operated its New York-Tel Aviv route since October 2023, when several global carriers suspended service to Israel after the Oct. 7 Hamas attack. Read More…
