Well, we asked ourselves this question, and considering how many countries are in Europe, we decided there are plenty of things not to love. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but a good deal of Europe’s 44 official countries (as recognized by the United Nations) have no business being among the Greeces, Spains, and Swedens of the continent. One of Europe’s most energetic capitals, Belgrade has plenty of buzz about it. With cool clubs (its summer barge parties along the Danube and Sava rivers are legendary), eclectic music scene, creative community and clutch of designer hotels, Belgrade is becoming quite the hip destination. According to The Wall Street Journal’s airline scorecard, Delta Air Lines ranked 1st for the 2nd year in a row and 5th time in 6 years. Alaska Airlines took 2nd place and Southwest 3rd tanks to low complaint and delay rates. JetBlue ranked last overall with poor numbers across all categories. Frontier was 2nd to last with the most complaints and delays. After taking significant losses in 2020 and 2021, US airlines finally earned a $1.6 billion profit in 2022 according to stats from the U.S. Department of Transportations — a sign the strong travels rebound is not slowing down.
