Travelers looking to minimize stress at the airport got some good news on Friday: The TSA has reduced the enrollment fee for TSA PreCheck, just before the hectic holiday travel season starts to ramp up.  The fee to join the program has been lowered to $78 for a five-year membership. While Delta Air Lines is now offering all SkyMiles members free Wi-Fi on select flights, I think it’s worth pointing out that American Airlines is continuing to offer passengers free Wi-Fi on select flights, with one major restriction. In the spring of 2022, American Airlines started a trial of offering passengers free Wi-Fi. The trial was initially supposed to end within a few weeks but appears to still be available. Read More…

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s enforcement of rules related to canceled or “significantly changed” flights has resulted in more than $600 million in refunds to passengers against six airlines, the agency announced Monday. The six carriers issuing refunds and being assessed penalties, in descending order of size of the refunds and penalties, include Frontier, Air India, TAP Portugal, Aeromexico, El Al and Avianca. Read More…
